I love this yellow quilted piece. It's got a Mies Barcelona vibe brightened by vibrant color that's a fantastic fit with the white room and gorgeous view. This is a great example of how one low piece of furniture can add a whole new aesthetic dimension to a space.

This sea grass ottoman from Pottery Barn would be a versatile addition to a living room or porch. The nod to nautical sensibilities is a bonus for coastal living.

To be functional an ottoman's height should precisely match the height of the sofa or chair that you will occupy while using it. Ottomans should be chosen in consideration of those who will most use them. For some a light ottoman will provide all the support needed. For others a larger wider piece is a better choice.
